Sometimes the most simple scenes are the ones that draw my eye the most. This remote unnamed pond in the New Hampshire White Mountains has great reflections of the mountains rising above it, the foliage was beautiful, and I like the way the dead trees on the far shore contrast with the surrounding vibrant color.
From Badgers Island in Kittery, Maine the brilliant white steeple of the North Church stands tall above the Portsmouth waterfraont skyline looking as a beacon of light shinig towards the Heavens. In the foreground floats a small square dock, weathered and worn as it gently floats in the night.
An early autumn morning on a pool in the Isinglass River. Two large boulders in the foreground, vivid fall colors, reds, yellows and golds, on the far side of the pool, with a nice mix of evergreens on the right. All the while bubbles create swirls, whirls, and arcs as they dance on the waters surface.
Sunrise over the Rye, NH seacoast. Gloden light on seaweed covered rock, waves crashing on the distant granite islets, and the brilliant sunburst on the horizon all come together in this vertically oriented capture of the first light on the New Hampshire seacoast.
